Thee True Gospel Of Jesus

RM20.00

The Holy Qur’an asks the Muslims not only to believe
in the Holy Prophet Muhammad, but also in the prophets
who had come prior to his advent. Therefore, the Muslims,
are interested not only in the Revelation that was given to
humanity through Prophet Muhammad, but also in the
Revelations which were given to prophets before him.
Among the prophets who had appeared before Prophet
Muhammad, the Qur’an has emphasised the importance
to the Muslims of Prophet Jesus.
Jesus was no doubt sent with a mission to the Israelites;
he had also a universal mission. In Surah Anbiya’ of the
Holy Qur’an, the Holy Prophet Jesus has been termed as
a “Mercy unto Humanity” and as a “Sign unto Humanity”.
You will find that though many prophets are mentioned in
the Qur’an, the word “Alameen” (universe or humanity)
has been used only for Prophet Jesus and Prophet
Muhammad. In addition to his mission to the Israelites;
Jesus was also commisioned with the task of heralding to
the world the advent of the Last and Greatest of the Prophets.
Incidentally, it is only Prophet Jesus and Prophet Muhammad
who have the largest following in the world today. Over half
of the total human population consists of the Christians who
believe in Prophet Jesus and the Muslims who believe in
Prophet Muhammad as well as Prophet Jesus. The Qur’an
also underlines the closeness of relationship between the
Muslims and Christians in Surah al-Maidah, verse 85:
“Strongest among men emnity to the believers wilt thou find
the Jews and Pagans; and nearest among them in love to the
Believers wilt thou find those who say, ‘We are Christians’:
because amongst these are men devoted to learning and men
who have renounced the world, and they are not arrogant”.
It is only an alliance between the Christians and Muslims
which can confront the rising tides of atheism and
materialism
